HOME MADE SEAFOOD SALAD

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. crab meat (preferably grated)
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced into small cubes
  • 3 tbsp. red onion, diced into very small cubes
  • 1/2 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup light or reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. fresh dill, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, place the crab meat, diced celery, diced red onion, Old Bay seasoning, fresh lemon juice, light or reduced-fat mayonnaise, fresh dill, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate. The salad will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
