Carnivore-Friendly Crispy Chicken Strips

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken fillets (boneless, skinless)
  • 3 large eggs
  • Salt (optional, depending on your preferences)
  • Pepper (optional, if you’re adding seasonings)
  • Animal fat or butter for frying (e.g., tallow, ghee, or lard)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chicken:

    • Slice the chicken fillets into strips, about 1-2 inches wide, depending on your preference for thickness.
  2. Beat the eggs:

    • In a bowl, crack the 3 eggs and whisk them together until well-beaten. Optionally, add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken:

    • Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are fully coated. You can do this step in batches.
  4. Heat the fat:

    • In a skillet, heat your choice of animal fat (tallow, ghee, or lard) over medium-high heat. You want enough fat to coat the bottom of the pan.
  5. Cook the chicken:

    • Once the fat is hot, place the egg-coated chicken strips into the pan, being careful not to overcrowd. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the chicken strips are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain and serve:

    • Once cooked, remove the chicken strips from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess fat.
    • Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy, carnivore-friendly chicken strips!

Feel free to dip them in some homemade carnivore-friendly dipping sauce, like a simple mix of egg yolk and butter for extra flavor!
