Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix

  • 1 cup lemon soda (Sprite or 7UP)

  • ½ cup vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch cake pan or loaf pan.

  2. Mix ingredients: In a bowl, combine lemon cake mix, lemon soda, and oil. Stir until smooth (do not overmix).

  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

  4. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  5. Cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing.


Optional Toppings

  • Powdered sugar dusting

  • Lemon glaze (powdered sugar + lemon juice)

  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream


Tips

  • Use diet soda if you want a lighter version

  • Add lemon zest for extra flavor (optional)

  • Can be baked as cupcakes (18–20 minutes)
