Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: lemon juice or parmesan for serving
Instructions
  • Prepare Cauliflower
  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Remove outer leaves from cauliflower.
  • Slice into 1½–2 cm thick steaks.
  • Season
  • Brush both sides with olive oil.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Sear
  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Sear cauliflower steaks 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  • Roast
  • Transfer to a baking dish.
  • Roast 12–15 minutes until tender inside.
  • Make Garlic Butter Sauce
  • Melt butter in a pan.
  • Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  • Pour over cauliflower steaks.
