Ingredients

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional for extra flavor)

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For Serving (Garlic Bread Inspired):

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Crusty bread or baguette slices (optional, for dipping)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Steak

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels (this helps them sear properly).

  2. Season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

2. Cook the Steak Bites

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Once hot, add the steak cubes in a single layer (avoid overcrowding).

  3. Sear for 2–3 minutes on each side, until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside, keeping them warm.

3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

  2. Add butter and let it melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Stir in parsley, red pepper flakes, and salt.

4. Combine Steak with Garlic Butter

  1. Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce until evenly coated.

  2. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over the steak bites and mix gently.

5. Serve

  • Serve immediately, hot from the pan.

  • Optionally, pair with crusty bread or baguette slices to soak up the garlic butter — giving it the full “garlic bread” vibe.

  • Garnish with extra parsley for a fresh touch.

Tips

  • Steak choice: Ribeye is more tender and flavorful, but sirloin is leaner and works well.

  • Garlic intensity: Adjust garlic cloves according to taste.

  • Make it spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne or chili flakes to the butter for heat.

  • Quick version: Use pre-minced garlic or garlic powder for faster prep.
