Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup pizza or marinara sauce

1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup sliced pepperoni (or olives, mushrooms, bell peppers)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional topping: grated Parmesan & fresh basil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Season chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Arrange chicken in the baking dish in a single layer.

Top with sauce evenly over each chicken breast.

Add toppings: Sprinkle mozzarella, then add pepperoni or veggies.

Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until chicken is cooked through (165°F / 74°C).
