Ingredients

For the Wraps

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil (for warming)

For the Filling (Chicken Version)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced or shredded

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Vegetables

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1 medium tomato, sliced

  • ½ cucumber, sliced

  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

Sauce (Creamy Option)

  • ½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce:
    In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise (or yogurt), lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

  2. Cook the chicken:
    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until heated through and lightly golden.

  3. Warm tortillas:
    Heat tortillas in a dry pan or microwave for 10–15 seconds until soft and pliable.

  4. Assemble wraps:
    Spread sauce evenly over each tortilla.
    Add lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, and onions.

  5. Wrap:
    Fold in the sides, then roll tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.

  6. Optional toast:
    Grill wraps in a pan for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly crispy.

  • Veggie wrap: Use grilled vegetables or chickpeas

  • Spicy wrap: Add chili sauce or jalapeños

  • Cheesy wrap: Add shredded cheddar or mozzarella

  • Healthy wrap: Use whole-wheat tortillas and yogurt sauce
