Bacon Wrapped Smokies are the perfect appetizer, snack, or meal! Make them for your next gathering or game day party and watch these quickly disappear!
Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz.) package little smokies-I use Oscar Mayer
- 12 slices center cut bacon-I use Oscar Mayer
- 1/2 cup zero point brown sugar sweetener- I use Lakanto Monkfruit Golden Sweetener
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- Dash cayenne pepper, if desired

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Cut the 12 bacon slices into thirds.
- Roll one piece of bacon around one little smokie and let the bacon overlap. Secure the bacon with a toothpick.Continue doing this to all of the little smokies.
- In a shallow bowl or dish pour in the brown sugar sweetener , garlic powder and a dash of cayenne pepper, if desired.
- Dip the little wrapped smokies intro the seasoning mix to cover.
- Place each Smokie with a piece of bacon on a baking sheet that is lined with foil.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
- Remove from oven and allow them to slightly cook for a few minutes before serving. Serve with these with the toothpicks or remove the toothpicks once they have cooled for a few minutes.
