- 1 pound lean ground turkey or chicken
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet, cook the lean ground turkey or chicken over medium heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms to the skillet with the cooked meat. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
