– 1/2 lb sliced corned beef
– 8 slices Swiss cheese
– 1 can (14 oz) sauerkraut, drained
– 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish to form a crust.
3. Layer half of the corned beef over the dough, followed by half of the Swiss cheese and half of the sauerkraut.
4. Drizzle half of the Thousand Island dressing over the sauerkraut.
5. Repeat the layers with the remaining corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and dressing.
6. Unroll the second tube of crescent roll dough and place it over the top of the layers, pinching the edges to seal.
7. Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with caraway seeds if using.
8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
9. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
