For the Stir-Fry

8 oz beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced

6 oz egg noodles or ramen noodles

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 cup broccoli florets

1 carrot, thinly sliced

½ bell pepper, sliced

2 green onions, chopped
For the Sauce

3 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

1 tsp brown sugar or honey

½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)

2 tbsp water or beef broth
🍜 Instructions

Cook the noodles
Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside. -
Prepare the sauce
In a small bowl whisk together:
soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, chili flakes, and water. -
Cook the beef
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
Add sliced beef and cook 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside. -
Stir-fry the vegetables
In the same pan add sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
Stir for 30 seconds, then add broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers. Cook 3–4 minutes. -
Combine everything
Add cooked noodles and beef back to the pan.
Pour in the sauce and toss everything together. -
Finish
Cook another 1–2 minutes until everything is coated and heated through.
Garnish with green onions.
