Easy Cheese Sausage Balls

These are easy cheesy sausage balls are delicious and more-ish! Perfect as party appetizers or to enjoy for breakfast! These sausage balls can be made ahead, even frozen before or after baking. Can also be made completely gluten-free.

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 16 oz bulk pork sausage
  • 1 ½ c gluten-free or regular Bisquick or any pancake/baking mix of your choice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Barbecue sauce or sweet chili sauce for dipping, if desired (
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line with parchment paper or lightly grease a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.

  2. Mix all ingredients except the dipping sauce in a large bowl.

  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls.

  4. A small cookie scooper is handy for this. Place in the prepared pan.

  5. Bake uncovered for 24 to 27 minutes or until nicely browned.Immediately remove from pan.

  6. Serve warm with sauce for dipping.
